If you know me, and keep up to date with my blog and Instagram accounts then you will know that I am a sucker for an afternoon tea. I love to try them at different places, especially when they have a view like this one.
If you love a fancy afternoon tea where you can enjoy a tipple then Marco Pierre Whites is the place to go, I have left all the links at the bottom of the post.
I booked this afternoon as an early Mother’s Day present/day out. I found the afternoon tea on Groupon and it had been reduced so it cost £45 for both of us, so it was really good value for money.
We were lucky to get a window seat when we arrived, so we had a fab view. The table was ours for about 2 hours which was plenty of time to enjoy the food without feeling rushed. Although, it may not look like much for 2 it was actually really filling and so tasty.
I enjoyed a nice Strawberry Prosecco, which was really nice cause it made it sweeter, and my Mum had the peach prosecco, which was a bit like a Mimosa.
The afternoon tea was definitely what we expected, such as sandwiches, scones, cream, and little cakes and tarts on the top which were so cute. Also, the shot on the top was a strawberry milkshake which was different. However it was too sweet so we left that bit and carried on with the prosecco, haha.
The restaurant was at the top of the building called ‘The Cube’ in Birmingham. It had a 360 view of the skyline and you could see everything.
I would definitely recommend going there for an occasion as it was lovely to sit there and just look out and watch the world go by, especially if it is a nice day.
I hope you enjoyed reading the post,
