From Nail Biter to Nail Grower

From Nail Biter to Nail Grower

I have always been an avid nail biter. Why was I? No idea really I think it just became a habit!

In this post I am just going to share with you the things that I used to get my nails back to being strong and so that they don’t break, especially because I work behind a bar and it is very difficult to not break one.

First off: this is how my nails look now so if you want to see how I got them like this then keep reading…

I used this every day when I was trying to get my nails strong and to grow a bit quicker. It works so well I think it might be on the pricey side but I have had this for a couple of years now and it still hasn’t run out.

Then I use this cuticle oil for the beds and around the edges of my nails it just makes them more conditioned and stops them from going dry.

In order for me to stop biting them, is to add a bit of colour, once the colour is on you will try your best not to chip it and this was the best trick for me to allow them to grow!

I have to say Primark do the best nail varnish colours for only £1 each they are gel, and they stay on for about a week without chipping which for the money I think is amazing.

This is what the red looks like and it is has been on for 1 day so far and it still looks nice and unchipped.

Honestly my nails used to be awful and they were so short, I’m not saying you should grow them really long just so they can be painted and look pretty.

Also, I have been doing my third year of my degree and have managed to grow mine, I hope this gave you a bit of motivation if you are a nail biter like me!
