We are not yet that far into the month of May, but I thought it would be nice to share with you some of the things I have been loving so far this month.
No.1 – LUSH ROSE JAM BODY SPRAY – £25 (200ml)
The Rose Jam fragrance is not just your average floral smell! The best way to describe it would be an original Lush smell, and when you spray it, it takes you straight to the Lush store. I have to say I have worn this everyday from when I purchased it at the start of the month. I knew it was the one for me as I have used the Rose Jam bath bomb and that left me smelling amazing, with a bath full of loveliness.
The spray consists of 16 ingredients:-
- DRF Alcohol, Water (Aqua), Perfume, Glycerine, Citronellol, Rose Absolute, Rose Oil, Egyptian Geranium Oil, Sicilian Lemon Oil, *Citral, *Citronellol, Coumarin, *Eugenol, Geraniol, *Limonene, *Linalool
All of these ingredients come together to make a fabulous smell. Also, you only need a few sprays for it to last you all day, it truly is worth the money and is just as strong as your normal perfume.
No.2 – BODY SHOP STRAWBERRY BODY BUTTER – £15 (200ml)
If you are a lover of a creamy body butter to make your skin super smooth then this is perfect. It is packed with extra strawberry flavour, and has been one of my favourites for years now. Also, you don’t need much of the product in order to have a complete strawberry explosion. This is definitely for people who love a sweet smell, but worth the money because it lasts for ages.
I was bough this watch as a gift from my Auntie, Uncle and Cousin for my 18th Birthday. I wear it most days and because of the colours it goes with most of my outfits. I just think they are so delicate and cute designs with the florals and butterflies. Also, my cousin knew I was a lover of rose gold which made it even more up my street. Olivia Burton have so many different designs for watches I just wish I could have them all. The leather strap is so comfortable as well it is the perfect fit.
No.4 – MAC PREP + PRIME FIX PLUS ROSE – £19 (100ml)
I purchased this on my recent trip to Brighton because every girl has to treat themselves now and them. I have wanted to buy this product for ages because I have heard from many that it is a brilliant product and really made a difference to how long your makeup lasted throughout the day so I thought why not give it a go. This also comes in other scents like coconut, lavender and then just a neutral smell. From what I have heard the rose has been the most popular along with the coconut.
No.5 – MAC STUDIO SCULPT – £27.50
For my 5th favourite of the month, it is another Mac product, this foundation I also bought when I was in Brighton for the weekend. I got my shade in NC20 which has quite a warm tone to it which is ideal for me now we are coming into the summer months. It is a gel based foundation and applies really well with a brush. It is one of my favourite ones to use so far and goes really well with my skin tone. So a fab purchase for this month.
No.6 – KIKO MILANO MATTE LIQUID LIPSTICK – £7.90
My nan purchased this for me when she was away on holiday and was amazed by all the lipsticks that Kiko had in their store bless her. This is in the colour 10 Dark Marve, and is a lovely going out colour, I use usually pair this with a nude coloured eye so my face isn’t too overpowering.
No.7 – MAYBELLINE LASH SENSATIONAL MASCARA – £8.99
This has to be one of my go to mascara’s that I alway’s buy as I know that it does the job and makes my lashes super long. Also, it isn’t too thick when it is applied, so that is one of my favourite things about the products. It has made it into my favourites purely because I have used it everyday since the the start of the May month so it made sense.
No.8 – MISGUIDED HEART EARRINGS – £2.50
They just had to make it into the favourites as I love wearing these on a night out or evening drinks. They are classic silver so match many things and Misguided did me good with them only costing me £2.50. I found them when I was looking in Selfridges and they have a section in there with all their nicest things. So this was 100% a steal.
No.9 – TOUCH OF SILVER DRY SHAMPOO – £2.49
This product is really worth the money on those days that you don’t want to fully wash your hair but just need that little extra lift to make it look more fresh for the day and keep the silver colour. It is really good at making your hair look less dull and get rid of any grease that may still be showing. I have used this a lot this month and stand by it when I dye my hair silver, it works a treat.
I hope you liked reading my favourites for this month, this is only a few of them so I might do another post next month with some adding things. If you are thinking of using any of these products then let me know I would love to know what you use instead.
Thank you for reading,
