Staying confident in 2018!

This is a well needed post after having a break from posting due to me putting all my focus into my Uni Exams, which fingers crossed I felt went okay! I think this a good post to kick start my blog again.

Us girls, can struggle with our confidence from time to time. I know I do! So I am writing this post for if you need some tips or ideas on how to give yourself that little needed boost. Now we are getting further into the year of 2018, it is time to get ourselves ready and feeling confident for the summer!

These are just some things that I do when I need a little boost in myself and make myself feel a bit better.

  1. Don’t forget to pamper yourself!

Pampering yourself when a bit stressed or lacking confidence, is a great way to relax and just forget about everything for a while. I like to run myself a nice bath with a bath bomb and nice smelling candles. I alway’s feel better in myself when I have had a nice bath. When I am out the bath, I then dry my hair and start on my face but putting the L’Oreal clay mask on and then put the benefit moisturiser on, giving my skin time to breath before the next day. I also, like to make my eyebrows looks nice and neat by just giving them a little pluck. As weird as that sounds it makes me feel a lot better knowing I haven’t got a monobrow growing.

2. Dress to impress!

This doesn’t mean dress to impress other people you need to first need to feel good in yourself. Getting yourself ready in the morning in something you fancy wearing and feel good in. This is the key to confidence and showing that to others.

3. Keeping Active!

I don’t keep fit and as active as I should have but I sure do try my best, but with the Christmas season upon us it is rather difficult… All the festive food aside though, if you are looking to boost your confidence, keeping fit and feeling good in yourself is a good way to keep confident. I had some new Gym Shark leggings bought for me for Christmas and some new gym shoes, which I feel will help me to get back into it.

4. Do what you want to do!

Put yourself first sometimes, I have realised that sometimes doing things that I want to do and things that make me happy is the best way to boost myself. If that means chilling and binge watching chick flicks then so be it!… I know that I manage to always find time to do this. Or for you if this means going different places and having a wonder around discovering new locations this is also something I recommend.

5. Remember to smile more πŸ™‚

Everyone looks better when they smile. That is a fact! Sometimes we are so focused on getting things done we forget about the small things. I sometimes forget to smile, but I feel so much better when I do it makes me feel more confident in myself. Also, it makes you look more approachable and therefore opportunity may come your way.

6. Treat yourself and indulge from time to time…

I know I am a serious fan of a full english breakfast (maybe with a few extras). Where I work at the Tarro Lounge we have a fab breakfast and I have sometimes pop in on a Sunday afternoon for a little Big Brunch.Β Screen Shot 2018-01-18 at 15.05.31.png
