So, if you follow my Instagram you may know that I am a solid coffee fan! To then put this into a Face mask that just seems like heaven. I just love the smell of coffee and this mask sure has the perfect smell. It has a grainy texture but this works wonders as an exfoliant. For me an exfoliating mask is something that I look for as I love to have soft and glowy skin. This mask also has a rating of 4.4 stars so it a strong contender if you want to have a fresh face. For a small pot which contains 150g it cost me £8.50, and although the pot looks small I feel like it will last me and I will get my use out of it.
When it comes to the ingredients, it has 16 altogether.
- Organic Agave Syrup
- Coffee Infusion
- Ground Coffee
- Bentone Gel
- Vetivert Oil
- Vanilla Absolute
- Roasted Cocoa Extract
- Coriander Oil
- Caffeine Powder
So I have to admit that it may not be the most flattering of face masks when it on, but then again who looks good in a face mask haha. When you intially put it on the coffee grains feel weird on your face but it is worth it.
So this is what the mask looks like when it is applied, I didn’t have to use too much either it spread across the skin nicely (pls ignore my hair I know it looks awful). The lady who helped me in the store said that this is a good mask for your under eyes, and the scent and fume isn’t too strong to the extent that it will damage your eyes. Another thing I liked about this mask, is that I had it on for about 13 minutes and it didn’t go stiff to the point I couldn’t move my face it was still quite wet when I went to take it off with a hot flanel, which made it feel even more cleasning.
This is what the mask looks like a lot closer up. As you can see it is really grainy from the coffee beans that are in it, but it feels so nice and refreshing on the face. This mask has quite a sweet smell, and when it is on the skin it feels hydrating, which I think the lady said was down to the Agave Syrup that is in there, but don’t hold me to that because I could be wrong haha.
I do apologise that it is not the best mask appearance wise but it is worth looking like this for 10-15 mins to get your skin feeling amazing. When taking it off the get rid of all the grains can be a challenge but you just need to stick with it and use a flannel and then I finished getting the rest off with some makeup wipes, and then just dabbed my face dry.
I highly reccomend this if you are looking for a mask that makes you feel like you have new skin. Especially if you have took a full face of make up off it makes sure that all the rubbish is out of your skin.
Let me know if there are any face masks that you have tried and love! I would love to try them out!
